By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

The Service offers both free and paid subscription tiers. The free tier provides limited access to features. Pro subscriptions unlock additional features including advanced grammar analysis, unlimited vocabulary exports, AI-powered practice tools, and more.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.
Monthly and annual subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. If you are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. Refunds may be pro-rated if you have made significant use of paid features (such as extensive API usage for translations or AI features) during this period.
For lifetime purchases, refunds are only available within the 14-day period from the date of purchase. No refunds are available for lifetime purchases after this period.

The Lexirise browser extension operates on third-party websites such as Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Webtoon, LINE Manga, Bilibili, and others. Your use of these websites is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third-party services. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of our extension with third-party content complies with applicable laws and the terms of those services.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COLD START VENTURES LIMITED AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be finally resolved by binding arbitration administered in Hong Kong in accordance with the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) Administered Arbitration Rules in force at the time of filing. The arbitration shall be conducted in English before a single arbitrator.
YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property rights.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
For any matters not subject to arbitration, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date. For significant changes, we may also notify you via email.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the Service.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Cold Start Ventures Limited regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
