〜ていく combines て-form with 行く to express movement away or continuation into the future.
Formation: Verb て-form + いく
Society will probably continue to change.
Two main uses:
Physical movement away - 持っていく (take along)
Continuation into future - 増えていく (will keep increasing)
Contrast with 〜てくる:

Common expressions:
• これからも〜ていく - Will continue to... from now on
• 〜ていきたい - Want to continue to...
• 変わっていく - Will change (going forward)
Direction away from speaker/current state
- 寒くなっていく (getting colder [continuing])
ていく vs てくる
- ていく = moving away/continuing forward
- てくる = approaching/up to now
Can't use for actions toward you
I will take an umbrella (with me).
The temperature will continue to drop.
I want to continue studying Japanese.
This city will continue to change.
