Simply attaches to verb stem. Can show sequence or simultaneous states.
-고 vs -아/어서 for sequence
- 고 = simple sequence
- 아/어서 = cause leading to result
-고 for listing states
- 크고 예뻐요 (big and pretty)
-고 나서 = after doing
I ate and drank coffee.
This bag is big and light.
I did homework and slept.
I sing and dance.
