尽管很累，但我还是来了
尽管…但 means "although/even though... but..." It introduces a concession - acknowledging one fact while presenting a contrasting result.

Structure: 尽管 + Clause A + 但/但是/可是 + Clause B
The 但 part is often paired with words like 还是 (still), 却 (yet), or 仍然 (nevertheless) to emphasize the contrast.
Even though she was tired, she still kept working.
尽管 vs 虽然: Both mean "although," but 尽管 is slightly more emphatic - it stresses that even despite the obstacle, something happened anyway. 虽然 is more neutral.
尽管 comes first

Don't skip 但
- ✅ 尽管很贵，但我买了
- ❌ 尽管很贵，我买了
Don't use 因为 (because) — 尽管 is for contrast, not causation
